Anna spent the evening jumping off the coffee table onto her landing pad blanket below. I had fun taking pictures. Here's some of my favorites:
Then she and Josie had a Djembe jammin' session and I actually got a picture of them both smiling at once!

wow, talk about action shots. Did she ever come to earth?? They are no landing shots. Tracy showed me how to shoot a burst, but I forget how, that does about 16 frames and would show the jump from start to finish. Tell Anna that is great jumping. Maybe she and Jack should try it together. Would you please send me a large one of the two on the drum. I can almost hear the music. love you, Grandma Jo
Love it! The kids are going to love these pictures when they get up. I'm sure it will inspire lots of jumping and drumming today. Caroline just in the last two weeks finally actually gets off the ground when she jumps, so she's been practicing a lot anyway. Have a great Friday!
The ringleader of chaos and fun, master of the domestic arts, mother to three beautiful, laughing girls and one wonderful husband, reveler in all things minute and daily.
Husband, father, student of civil engineering, the master gardener and bread baker in the house and loves when he gets to go for a good, hard bike ride.
Anna 10-11-05
Six year old lover of all the delightful details of life. Tree climber, bike rider, rock climber, gardener, Mama snuggler, artist, reader, best friend to her sisters, a kindhearted compassionate girl who knows herself and stands secure and confident in who she is with her feet planted strongly in the natural world around her.
Josie 3-6-07
Five years old, full of spunk, adventure and daring. She loves to snuggle, gives hugs freely and is probably the most social of the three. She is always thinking about those around her and if you need a babysitter she will follow your little one around untiringly and keep them out of trouble. She loves riding her scooter, swinging high, any art project, and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She won't be left behind if you are going out the door.

The cutest, smiliest, most independent 3 year old around, has mastered climbing and is trying to learn to ride her two wheel bike so she can ride 'all by herself' to pick up her sisters at school. She laughs easily, especially at the antics of her silly sisters. Favorite pasttimes are playing in the hammock and building with blocks and lincoln logs.
