We've got a foot of snow on the ground and it's still coming down hard. Here's a few pictures from our fun 'spring' day in the snow.
Ruthie was awake when we first came outside but then she promptly went to sleep and missed seeing the creek:

The girls are watching Mitch shovel the walk:

Here's a picture of the snow fort Mitch built. Quite a structure! It'll be around for a while since it's on the shady north side of our building. That's Anna and Marcelo playing inside of it:

Wow that's a lot of snow! And what great pictures. You are beautiful holding Ruthie in the top picture Kates, and I love Mitch smiling and holding both the other girls. How fun is your snow fort? I heard on NPR yesterday that there was a blizzard in Denver and that they were expecting 16 inches of snow, and I thought I must have heard her wrong. Surely she said six!?! But clearly from your pictures she meant sixteen. Well no more gardening for a few days at least. Enjoy the rest of Spring Break. Miss you all!

Wow and here I was picturing you all barefoot and working in the garden. What a change. We do not get much change here. At least I am seeing some sun here today after mostly rain yesterday. You and Ruthie look lovely all covered in snow. Is that a new coat? Oh, that's your biking jacket and you are on the bridge! Thanks for sharing a different sort of day. Is Mitch on spring break? So nice to have a day together.
love you, Mom
I love the picture of you and Ruthie in the snow, beautiful! Gotta love that Colorado "spring" eh? I lived there a few years and remember it well!
